Mr. Berlin graduated from Boston University in 1995 with a dual degree in Political Science and International Relations and a minor in Religion. After working in Washington, D.C. at one of the top Intellectual Property Law Firms in the country and at Special Olympics International he returned to his home in Los Angeles to attend Loyola Law School. Mr. Berlin graduated from Loyola Law School, passed the California State Bar in 2001, and was hired by the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office where he obtained significant criminal defense and trial experience.
In his 18 years as a California attorney Mr. Berlin has worked almost exclusively representing consumers in everything from Tobacco Litigation, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Debt Collection Harassment, Fair Credit Reporting, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure Defense/Loan Modifications Auto Fraud and Lemon Law matters.
Mr. Berlin is a member of the Southwest Riverside County Bar Association, Southwest Inn of Court, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA). He was the Temecula Chamber of Commerce representative on the Board of the Temecula Citizen Corps, as well as a former Board Member of the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce. Barak was a recent finalist for “Citizen of the Year ” by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce .
In his free time, Barak enjoys going to movies, Southern California theme parks, traveling, and spending time with his family.
